Through the guidance of tutor Lindsay the past 10 weeks of online Spanish lessons together with Lindsay’s knowledge of Spanish culture has set me up extraordinarily well (as reported in my blog to date) for my upcoming stay in Spain from where this blog will continue.
The objective to take the learning acquired in Wales and develop this on the ground in Spain in the region around Cádiz.
In addition, whilst based in Spain I will be seeking out business opportunities and taking the opportunity to introduce and discuss my “Designed in Wales” Fashion and Sporting Glove Collection which features here; www.signature-leather.com.
As also highlighted in my blog to date, I am in close contact with the Iberian Equestrian community in the UK through participation at UK Iberian events where I have had the opportunity to meet Spanish and Portuguese Equestrian judges and am delighted to count many Iberian classical riders as Signature Leather Glove customers.
To close this first chapter of Spanish Language learning I now have the bus and train timetable to get me from the airport into town with English translation to assist (I’m not there yet!) and also Lindsay’s recommended BBC course materials that have been running alongside her course which is in very handy size compact books and CDs.
Finally, by way of tribute to my great grand mother who I never met but am fortunate to have the one and only picture of her presumed to have been taken approximately 100 years ago in Aberdare where my great grand mother was born and lived.
I wonder what my great granny would have made of online Spanish lessons being delivered to her great grand son directly from Aberdare in 2024 and delivered just up the road from the photography studio by fellow Aberdare resident Lindsay! 🏴🇪🇸
Muchas gracias Lindsay por todo tu tiempo y experiencia🙏
